Jim missed Bob so much that he wanted another cat. We adopted Mikey from the Seattle Animal Shelter on April 6.

Deana and her mother spent a week in New Orleans, March 27-April 3.

We were in Puerto Vallarta again, for two weeks, November 3-17.

Jim spent a couple of days in the hospital with a bout of diverticulitis. He was really sick but is now recovering with massive doses of antibiotics.

Mom hit the media - first in a video shown on KOMO TV on Sep 9, and then the front page of the Seattle Times on Sep 10. This was the photo on the front page. [The article, "Exercise cuts breast-cancer risk, Hutch study shows" spotlighted Cecile Cowdery, a retired Group Health nurse. She belongs to an exercise group, Silver Sneakers, of which Mom is also a member.]
